Jermaine O'Neal entered the league as then the youngest player in NBA history. Drafted 17th at age 17 by the Portland Trail Blazers, he was part of early crop of stars drafted straight out of High School before the NBA rule change. With fellow high schooler Kobe Bryant, Jermaine was part of the memorable 1996 Draft class SLAM cover.
